Appraisal
Successful
enterprises recognise the value of their leaders having the capacity to gain the respect
and support of their colleagues and employees. Leaders who are conscious of their
strengths, and aware of the characteristics that diminish their leadership, are well
placed to generate more positive outcomes and achieve better staff morale. A comprehensive
leadership appraisal process can ascertain and affirm strengths and also identify the
leadership characteristics that impinge on successful leadership. It will also identify
strategies for change so that all leaders can be challenged to lift their leadership
effectiveness.

Consultings Leadership Appraisal Module (LAM) is a
proven process, using a highly experienced facilitator to comprehensively assess
leadership attributes and to both affirm and challenge leaders within their organisations.
LAM utilises
three sources of reference to build up a Leadership Profile Self-Appraisal,
Designated Leaders Appraisal and Colleagues Perceptions. This
process has been developed from a contemporary 360-degree appraisal model to provide a
specific focus on attributes of leadership.
The program asserts
that many leadership attributes are generic and not specific to the particular
organisation but it also invites assessment in the performance of actual and perceived
duties.
